Alternative cropping

This photograph of raindrops on a park bench was intended as a multiple self portrait. Unfortunately it was rather dark when I took it. The ISO value is 400 and it's not as crisp as I would have wanted. I'll try to take a series of pictures of multiple reflections.

  1. Great photo. If you want it to be more crisp you could add a high pass filter.

  2. i think this concept is great. A macro lens would have helped to get it more crisp. You could also try duplicating the image in PS, then select apply image, reduce the opacity a little and that could help (might be a bit dark)

  3. Thanks for the suggestions! I'm considering buying a macro, but I'm not really sure what to get.

  4. i bought quite a cheap sigma macro from new york when i accidentally haggled for it! and I really like it - I mainly use it to shoot negatives rather than scan pictures but its a cheap way to get into close up photography
